Stress Management Group
"Stress can be defined as the brain's response to any demand." (National Institute of Mental Health)
Stress occurs frequently in life, can be caused by a variety of circumstances, and can have negative effects on both physical and mental health. The focus of the group is to improve symptoms related to stress, gain insight in how thoughts and feelings can hinder or improve overall wellness and recovery, and learn how to better cultivate healthy coping habits.
This is an adult only 6-week group series that meets weekly from 5:30-6:30 PM on Tuesday evenings. Space is limited to 10 and registration to attend is required. Each series is $120 ($20 per week) and is private pay. Cost of each group series covers materials, resources, and time. There are no refunds for partial attendance.
