Art is the language expressed when we cannot find the words to speak the depths of our innermost being. Art is joyous, painful, liberating, moving, scary, courageous, meaningful, timeless, and imagination made tangible. We are all inspired by someone or something through profound events, simplicity in daily activities, complex complications within interpersonal dynamics, or nature. Shelly Werts has been creating art since childhood, is an abstract surrealist, and derives inspiration from a variety of sources in her eclectic collection of art ranging from watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and more. There is no specific sequence or purpose as she is drawn to what life has to offer, whether in art or in her personal and professional pursuits. Her purpose is to positively impact others through art. All original art and crafts are for sale. Come and go as you please. Light snacks will be provided.
